Jurassic World Indominus Rex Figure

The Indominus Rex was the latest attraction at Jurassic World. And, boy, was she a sight to behold! The Indominus Rex was massive, easily twice the size of the T-Rex. And, where the T-Rex was all muscle, the Indominus Rex was lean and mean. She was fast, too. I remember seeing her run and thinking that she could probably outrun a cheetah.

The Indominus Rex was also smart. She could open doors and figure out puzzles. I remember one time she escaped her enclosure and went on a rampage through the park. It took four raptors and a whole lot of tranquilizer darts to finally take her down.

But, even with all of her flaws, I couldn’t help but be fascinated by her. She was just so… different. And, in a world of genetically-modified dinosaurs, she was the most genetically-modified dinosaur of them all.

So, when I saw that there was an Indominus Rex figure available for purchase, I knew that I had to have it. And, let me tell you, this figure does not disappoint!

The figure is incredibly detailed and well-made. It captures the Indominus Rex’s likeness perfectly. And, at 12 inches tall, it’s pretty big, too! My only complaint is that it doesn’t come with a stand, so it’s a bit difficult to display. But, other than that, this is an excellent figure and a must-have for any Jurassic World fan!

Safari Ltd. Wild Safari Prehistoric World Pteranodon

The Pteranodon is a flying dinosaur that lived during the late Cretaceous Period, around 85-65 million years ago. It was one of the largest flying animals ever, with a wingspan of up to 40 feet (12 meters). The Pteranodon was a carnivore, and probably fed on fish and other small animals.

The Pteranodon was first discovered in 1876, by Othniel Charles Marsh. Marsh found several fossils of the Pteranodon in Kansas, United States. The name Pteranodon means “winged and toothless”. The Pteranodon was not actually toothless; it had about two dozen teeth in its lower jaw.
